Excited by Fashion

Milly have created the most amazing Pre fall 2013 collection. I came across it while reading my Style.com app on my IPad. I get the collection, it's everything I would want to have in my own wardrobe. I'm addicted to buttons, polka dots and owls and LOVE the combination of girlie chic with that hint of geek boy fashion. The tailoring is beautiful and attention to detail is stunning. From small bows on tops to cute feathers and the mix of fabrics just excites me.
I would be honoured to wear any piece from this collection and think any girl or woman out there would feel a million dollars in any of these pieces.

Head to http://www.style.com to check out the full write up and review.

Comfy Chic? Yes please!

Thailand born designer Thakon Panichgul who is now based in New York has done just this. He has taken his signature line and shook it up for his pre-fall collection and created a more affordable line and named it Addition.

The mix of textures and materials are genius and I think you will agree it works. I couldn't actually pick one outfit that I favoured the most. They all make me want to wear them, which is great.

This pre-fall line has everything I would want or expect to see in a collection. I LOVE it!
The leopard coat even has a removable lapel so you can achieve two completely different looks from one garment.....genius!

You can check out his collection at http://www.style.com or from his direct site http://www.thakoon.com/world-of-thakoon

Enjoy looking at this unique and individual collection - I know I did - xo

Ps- I am totally in LOVE with the middle parting in the hair. Natural and gorgeous and doesn't take away from the clothes. Brilliant!

DKNY rock their Pre Fall 2013 Collection

While browsing Style.com I came across the new collection for DKNY and loved it all. The hair was simply and stylish and some of the outfits were finished off with a fab head scarf.

Here are some of my personal favourites. If you go to http://www.style.com you can have a nosy and find your favourite also. Xo

Lady of the Lake

Images from the shoot last weekend. I loved being part of it and creating the hair for Paula O'hara's vision. Jennifer Ireland rocked the make-up. Xx

Magic on The Lake

Every now and then I get together with my friends and we do a creative shoot together. Jennifer Ireland is a fantastic make-up artist and Paula O'hara is an amazingly talented photographer who can capture magical moments and create something beautiful every time. It is always an honour to work with these two girls. On Sunday morning, the 2nd December my alarm woke me at 5am! normally, I'd roll over and pop the snooze button on, but not this morning. This morning, I felt like a child at christmas. I jumped up out of bed, popped the kettle on and got myself ready to go and do a creative shoot with my friends. I was so excited, triple excited in fact to create the hair for this shoot. The model Sophie Irwin was just perfect to play our lady of the lake and it was her first ever photoshoot! She totally rocked it! It was freezing cold and while we had earmuffs, fur coats and wellies on, poor Sophie was stood on a wee bridge on a lake with a whimsical wedding dress on. Ursula Bamford of BFord created a lovely lace headband for the shoot, Petticoat Lane Bridal provided the dress and Tim from Floral Earth in Holywood supplied the flowers and created the most magnificent winter floral head crown and when you see the images I'm sure you'll agree he rocked it! I hope you enjoy looking at the photos as much as I enjoyed help create them. xo
